Dark Horse Comics became the first publisher to cancel forthcoming works by Neil Gaiman following further sexual misconduct allegations.
A total of nine women have now alleged abuse by the bestselling author, including four more women in a recent Vulture article.
On Saturday, Dark Horse Comics – which was due to publish more works as part of Gaiman’s Anansi Boys series – said in a statement that it takes the allegations “seriously” and is “no longer publishing his works”.
Earlier this month Gaiman posted a statement to his website denying the women’s allegations and said he had “never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity with anyone. Ever”.
Since Tortoise first reported the alleged abuse in July 2024, several film and TV adaptations of Gaiman’s stories have been halted.
