Conor McGregor: Rape Crisis Centre calls for boycott of MMA fighter’s brands after he is found liable for sexual assault

Rape Crisis Network Ireland has called for a boycott of Conor McGregor’s stout and whiskey brands after he was found liable for sexual assault in a civil court.

Nikita Hand, who accused the MMA fighter of rape at the Beacon Hotel in December 2018, was awarded damages of £206,000.

She lost her claim against a second man, James Lawrence, who was also accused of assault on the same night. Both men deny any wrongdoing.

In now-deleted posts on X after the ruling, McGregor disparaged Hand, called the High Court a “kangaroo court” and signalled his intention to appeal.

All parties will return to court this week to decide who should pay for the costs of the trial – which RTÉ reports could be over £830,000.
