Love Island romance hits the rocks

Love Island romance hits the rocks

Five years after they met on ITV’s Love Island, Molly-Mae Hague has announced she's splitting from her fiance Tommy Fury. The 25 year-old posted a short statement announcing the news on her Instagram account, saying she “never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,” which led the tabloid press to report that Fury, brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson, had cheated on her. Hague has become more than just an ex-reality TV star. She is one of the UK’s most recognisable influencers, and earned a reported £5 million a year when she became creative director of the fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing in 2021 – a role she quit two years later when she gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Bambi. Some of her followers are beyond devoted. “Molly Mae and Tommy splitting up is how I imagine it felt when Charles and Diana split up for our parents,” one X user wrote.
