Elon Musk’s livestream video game walkthrough raises doubts about his achievements

Is Elon Musk pretending to be better at video games than he really is? Musk has boasted for years that he’s one of the best in the world at action role-playing games like Diablo IV, but basic errors he made during a livestream playthrough of ‘Paths of Exile 2’ have aroused suspicion.

At one point he seemed to not understand his inventory was full. Some have questioned how natural it was to label his map folder “Elon’s Maps” (a hint that the character may have been created and levelled-up by someone else).

Some of his virtual equipment was more advanced than that owned by professional streamers which, given the hours required, seems physically impossible to achieve while being CEO of six companies, a chronic poster on X and adviser to the president-elect.

FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried famously gamed during important meetings, when he perhaps should have paid more attention to his lawyers.

Musk might want to reassess his priorities.
