One of the most recognisable stars of the Games, ParalympicsGB’s Kadeena Cox made history at the 2016 Rio Games by becoming the first British athlete to win golds in multiple sports at the same Games since Isabel Barr in 1984. The six-time Paralympic medalist won gold in cycling at both Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, and also won the 400 metres para athletics in Rio. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2014, she has battled back from calf and achilles injuries to be able to compete in Paris.
