I hope...
I hope for greater accountability, where everything is fact checked and scrutinised – predominantly regarding the Palestine-Israel conflict, sustainability and the environment, and also the comings and goings of MPs. Because of the media my generation has grown up with, we have always had a platform for activism and sharing our views and ideas. As such, we hope for more honesty from the people in power and for them to advocate for, and amplify, Palestinian voices. This is the driving force for me voting for the Green Party, even though I live in a constituency with a strong Labour majority. My vote is a stand for a government that is transparent and trustworthy and will build a society that is equitable, environmentally conscious and committed to global justice.
