Karima al-Ras wanted to bury her son: she told Sky News that she spent days searching through hundreds of bodies pulled from a mass grave at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis. Many people were buried in haste by Palestinians as the hospitals were surrounded. Sky reports that Israel bulldozed those graves after they took over. The UN is investigating unverified claims that some bodies were found stripped with their hands tied. The Israeli military said it examined bodies buried by Palestinians at Nasser hospital in a search for hostages; it described claims IDF forces had buried bodies as “baseless and unfounded”. Karima’s son is now buried with his siblings.
