Former US military and intelligence officials testified under oath to a US congressional committee to having seen “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP) – a catchall for UFOs, extraterrestrials and everything in between. They also implied that the US government has been hiding knowledge of UAPs’ existence. Concerns over revealing classified information meant specifics of what was seen, where it’s been seen, and what it could be were left unanswered – but former U.S. Navy fighter pilot Ryan Graves did admit to witnessing “a dark grey or black cube inside of a clear sphere”, and former US Air Force officer David Grush claimed that “non-human biologic material” had been recovered from a downed UAP. Nothing that was said has been confirmed by the US Department of Defense, but don’t expect this to be the end of the wait-what-UFOs-for-real? story. The Senate has the power to declassify records related to UAPs and Congress has indicated it plans to hold more hearings.
