The Tortoise Interview with Trevor Horn
Trevor Horn is a multi-million-selling producer, songwriter, musician and record-label boss, who has won multiple BRITs, Grammys and Ivor Novello Awards across his 45-year career. In 2011, he was awarded a CBE for services to music. The legendary artist and music producer, who has worked with ABC, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Pet Shop Boys, Seal, Simple Minds, Grace Jones and Mike Oldfield, produced Band Aid’s original Do They Know It’s Christmas? Chatting about his memoir Adventures in Modern Recording: From ABC to ZTT, Trevor will share the secrets and stories behind some of the greatest hits of all time.
London Gay Men’s Chorus Ensemble: Live at Tortoise
Even the grumpiest scrooge couldn’t fail to be moved by the London Gay Men’s Chorus, world-famous for their gorgeous annual Christmas performance in the Liberty department store. We’re thrilled that the LGMC Ensemble will be bringing seasonal joy to Tortoise Lates with a very special set of magical, festive songs, while you enjoy mince pies, cheese and wine.
A Question of Tortoise: The Quiz of 2022
Have the editors been paying attention? Have you? Has anyone? Pencils at the ready for a fully-interactive, mildly chaotic and possibly embarrassing quiz in which Tortoise members pit their wits against the editors and each other. Actual prizes will be won and reputations may be shattered. Good luck!
