Slow News Cafe at the British Library

Slow News Cafe at the British Library

This event is exclusive to Friends of Tortoise

This is an in-person event at the British Library, open for all Tortoise members.

If you feel like bringing your Tuesday morning paper routine to London’s home of more than 25 million books, do visit us at the Slow News Cafe, our new series of ThinkIns hosted in partnership with The British Library.

Taking place every second Tuesday from 3 May to 26 July, you’ll have the opportunity to join Tortoise editors along with some surprise guest speakers for a friendly and relaxed look at that day’s news agenda over a warm cup of coffee or tea.

This free drop-in session will take place at the cafe near the Entrance Hall at The British Library. Simply pop in at 10am, no booking required.
