It’s more than 2,400 days since the UK voted to leave the European Union, and while the rest of Europe has moved on to other things, Brexit is still a dominant theme in UK politics.
Every economic indicator is viewed through the lens of Brexit, any claim of success or failure is weaponised by Remainers and Brexiteers. But are we measuring the right things? It seems inevitable that a closer relationship with the EU will have to be brokered in the short to medium term. But given how the pro-remain campaign failed to land its message back in 2016, what kind of data is going to win the argument?
Join us as we discuss the indicators by which to measure the current and future successes and failures of Brexit, and the stories that could bring them to life.
