Carolyn McCall became ITV’s Chief Executive in January 2018. She joined ITV from easyJet where, as CEO for over seven years, she led a turnaround. Before that, she was CEO of the Guardian and the Observer, later becoming Group CEO of Guardian Media Group in 2006. In 2016, Carolyn was awarded a Damehood for services to the aviation industry having already received an OBE in 2008 for services to women in business. She has received the Veuve Clicquot businesswoman of the Year Award and has been named the most admired leader by Management Today three times, making her the only person to have won the award for two separate companies.
