Heywood Prize Ceremony

Heywood Prize Ceremony

This event is exclusive to Friends of Tortoise

This is a newsroom ThinkIn. In-person and digital-only tickets are available.

In association with The Heywood Foundation, we are delighted to invite you to join us for the Award Ceremony of the 2023 Heywood Prize.

The Heywood Prize is a biennial competition through which members of the public can submit innovative policy solutions to better society in the UK.

The prize is testament to the Heywood Foundation’s mission to support charitable causes and promote innovation and diversity within the Civil Service and broader public service in the UK. The Foundation was founded by Suzanne Heywood in memory of her late husband, Jeremy Heywood, a Cabinet Secretary and long standing civil servant – serving under four Prime Ministers – who sadly passed away in 2018.

We are thrilled to be able to announce the winners of this year’s Heywood Prize and to recognise the innovative ideas with potential to propel the future of UK public policy.
