Lufthansa’s complaint numbers rose 13-fold last year. The US Department of Transport reported a 55 per cent increase in the same period, and Whizzair might as well be Swizzair. They charge extra for everything, slow-roll refunds that should be no-quibble and howl with indignation when called out for their tax-free fuel. Is carrying people from A to B in reasonable comfort just too much of a chore?
