The UK’s former prime minister in conversation with James Harding.
This ThinkIn is in association with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change
The C-19 pandemic is a health crisis, an economic disaster, a challenge to national government and a test of global leadership. Tony Blair, the UK’s former prime minister, will join us for a ThinkIn, an open, in-depth discussion, on how we answer the coronavirus. We will consider what the UK needs to do now and set out a strategy for the emergence from lockdown and the restart of the economy. We will focus on the international response: what world leaders and global institutions need to do now. In particular, we’ll look at Africa: the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change has refocused its entire effort to support African leaders in their gathering battle against Covid. And we will debate the reset. We will look ahead at what the C-19 crisis has revealed about the way we live and work, what needs to change in the UK and around the world.
