Lisa Nandy is Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs. First elected as the Labour MP for Wigan in 2010, she has served as Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Shadow Children’s Minister and Shadow Minister for Civil Society. Lisa co-founded a think tank called Centre for Towns, which works to ensure priority is given to the viability and prosperity of Britain’s towns. Before entering Parliament, Lisa worked for the youth homelessness charity Centrepoint and The Children’s Society.
She will be in conversation with James Harding on the direction of the Labour party, what we’re learning about the impact of Brexit on both trade and immigration, on Britain’s changing role on the international stage – and anything else that Tortoise members would like to raise.
