The Arms Race

We need to get the world vaccinated as fast as possible. We’re in an arms race: vaccines vs variants.

Why?

We need to get the world vaccinated as fast as possible. We’re in an arms race: vaccines vs variants.

Today, we’re losing. The variants are racing ahead, and the vaccines are falling short.

How?

We are asking the G7 and G20 to fund and deliver 7 billion jabs by the end of 2021 and a further 7 billion by mid-2022, vaccinating 70% of the world’s population by then. You can read our coalition’s letter, originally published in the Financial Times, for more detail.

If you want to help, you can:

1. Write to your MP at Write To Them
2. Volunteer to help on the campaign by emailing us at thearmsrace@tortoisemedia.com

We are going to track everyone in the race – the public, businesses, vaccine manufacturers and governments.

It starts now.

Vaccines can play a major role in ending the pandemic, but only if they are available to all, and only if we collaborate with one another as no one is safe until we are all safe.
