The

Arms Race

We need to get the world vaccinated as fast as possible. We’re in an arms race: vaccines vs variants.

Why?

We need to get the world vaccinated as fast as possible. We’re in an arms race: vaccines vs variants.

Today, we’re losing. The variants are racing ahead, the vaccines are falling short.

What?

We want to guarantee the world is vaccinated by the end of next year.

How?

Our target is 10 billion jabs for 2022. To do that, we are asking everyone to join the arms race:

  • The public to pledge doses
  • Businesses to pledge even more
  • Rich countries to share the spares
  • The pharmaceutical companies to send more doses now to the poorest countries
  • And the G7 and G20 to fund and deliver 10 billion jabs for 2022

If you want to help, you can:

1. Donate a dose at Go Give One
2. Write to your MP at Write To Them
3. Volunteer to help on the campaign by emailing us at thearmsrace@tortoisemedia.com

We are going to track everyone in the race – the public, businesses, vaccine makers and governments.

It starts now.

The finish line is Sunday 10 April 2022, the week before Easter, when we want the world to know that we – the people of the world, the companies and drugmakers of the world, the wealthy nations of the world – have guaranteed that everyone can be vaccinated by the end of next year.
